Game 2 of the OKC-Spurs series will be played tonight, and OKC is going to have to step it up.
One player that’s really going to have to step it up for the Thunder is, Sixth Man of the Year, James Harden.
In Game 1, Manu outplayed him. Simple.
And Coach Brooks may want to use Ibaka to his full advantage. I know the OKC coach likes the small lineup with KD at the PF spot, but Ibaka is needed in the paint. As we seen in Game 1, the Spurs took advantage of the lack of size, attacking the rim almost every possesion.
Ibaka is one of the best defensive players in the league. Use him. The small lineup worked with LA, but San Antonio is a whole different ball club, and playing at a superior level.
Thunder can win this series, Spurs are at a disadvantage in match ups, with OKC being younger and quicker.
We’ll see how tonights game plays out at 9PM ET, on TNT.
